About Laura Kaufman

While most teenagers wonder what they are going to be when they grow up, Laura felt a clear calling at the early age of 14. She released her first album, “Follow Christ,” at 15, and by the time she graduated high school in 2002, her performances had become a fixture at venues throughout her native Ohio. In December 2005 she released “Lullabies,” which has received both critical and popular acclaim for its haunting melodies and lush instrumentation.

Now 24, Laura is still following her calling. Her performances can be heard all around the country at coffee houses, churches, colleges, festivals, and other venues. “Photographs”, her third album, was released in June. The first single, “I Believe”, was featured on MyNetwork TV in September 2006.

Laura sings with a pure and powerful, yet vulnerable, voice that conveys a deeply felt emotion in every song. Her lyrics invoke reflection and compel her listeners to not only sing along, but to also contemplate the calling God has placed on their own lives. Visit her website >
