Divine Intervention & Angel Heaven™ World.com
“God has always inspired me throughout my personal life as well as my career life. This is my most recent Divine Intervention story…” – Sharon M Hayes
I am an artist, author, designer and songwriter living in St. Louis, Missouri. I spent twenty-five plus years as a Creative Director working on various products with the majority of them being children related. In 2003 I took a sabbatical from the Commercial World and started promoting my Fine Art. My art style is contemporary figurative and my oil paintings have become known internationally for their abstract eye-sharing faces.

When my son was 8 years of age he would wake up with nightmares and call me into his room. Once there I would talk to him about how God was always with us, and that he had his angels around helping to guard us from harm. Then I would sing him a song, or tell him a story, until he would finally fall back to sleep.
One night while waiting for him to drift off to sleep, I thought it would be nice if he had a plush guardian angel doll to sleep with, but he would never have anything to do with dolls, he loved playing with army men and trucks. So I thought that if the angel had army motif wings he would like it. This was the spark from God that led to my creation of the safe, wholesome and comforting Angel Heaven™ Toy Line & Web World for children.
I designed five guardian angel dolls with various wing designs which Velcro to the backs of the dolls. I then started the search for the manufacturer of the dolls. My main objective was to create dolls that were of high quality and safe for small children. This took three long years and many prototypes. I also incorporated the style of the eyes in my paintings into the designs of the dolls and other characters.
Next I wrote the Angel Heaven™ poem that is printed on the dolls vinyl bubble package. The poem is to be read to a child just before bedtime:

In a bubble from Heaven
I’ve floated down to be
Your Guardian Angel
Blessed with the name you give me
I’m your bedtime reminder
To brush your teeth
Say your prayers
Tuck in your feet
If you get scared
Just hug me tight
I’m at your side
All through the night
My big bright eyes
Forever peep
I stay awake
So you can sleep
Now kiss my halo
Pat my wings
Sing me a song
And have sweet dreams!
I added another poem titled “Earning Wings” during the process of developing the website. This became the foundation for the site story and is meant to teach children that by doing good deeds, good will come back in return:
“Earning Wings” ©2009 by Sharon M Hayes
As your guardian angel
I earn my wings
By doing good deeds
To make the bell ring
By feeding the birds
I help them stay strong
So they can fly high
And sing birdie songs
By planting some flowers
And watering their seeds
I keep our world pretty
And make fun for the bees
By learning to sing
I can raise my voice high
To thank God in the heavens
For earth water and sky
By teaching me all of these
Wonderful things
You’ll get a star from the heavens
And I’ll earn my wings
I then began to write the Angel Heaven™ story for books. The stories introduce other characters, like “Curlee Cool” a jazz cat from outer space who discovers Angel Heaven™ World. Buzzalee Bee who makes perfume for the angels, and a whole cast of fun and fuzzy creatures. They have also evolved into lovable plush toys and are for sale in our shop. The books will begin to be published this year.
Angel Heaven™ World.com is an animated, entertaining and wholesome website where children ages 3-11 can help their angels earn wings by doing good deeds to make the bell ring. They can also fly & chat in a safe and secure Angel Heaven™ Park, play online games, watch cartoon shorts with the many characters of Angel Heaven™ and Shop for guardian angel dolls, music and other Angel Heaven™ creations. The site can also help kids learn basic skills like memory build, reading and creative thinking in a safe, secure web environment that promotes positive thinking.
I had the site ready to launch with just one section left to be finished and only 2 weeks left before we launched. The section that was not yet finished was the “Sing songs with Purrlee”. Purrlee is a blue cat. I still needed to write the songs, hire a singer, a musician and a recording studio to produce the material for the site. The singer had to have an angelic voice to pull off the feel I was going for in my songs.
It was late on a Thursday night in October, I was exhausted and knew that in order to finish the songwriting I was going to have to take a break and head out to a peaceful resort and get inspired through prayer. I started searching the Internet for resorts. I usually gravitate to the ocean to do my creative thinking, only this time God led me to the website of a resort in North Carolina…I was thinking…”no, I want to be someplace warm”, but he insisted on a place in Blowing Rock… and as usual, I put my trust in him and booked it online that night.
I boarded a plane three days later for NC. The flight was about an hour and a half and then there was a drive of about 2 hours to get to the resort.
The resort was peaceful and breathtaking. It sat high up in the hills and had a spectacular view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I learned that it had been built in 1917 by an author/artist. That was a real coincidence I thought.
The first night I spent praying and writing. I completed a third song for Angel Heaven™ titled: “I Thank God for Angels”
The next morning I went downstairs to the dining room for breakfast. While sitting there a waitress approached my table and we began talking. She asked me if I was staying at the Inn alone. I told her yes and that I was there on a creative writing mission. She then asked me what it was I was writing, and I told her that I was writing songs for a new children’s web site.
Then she told me that she was a singer and that her husband was a composer. I asked her to bring me a sample of her music, which she did the following day.
That evening after dinner, I went to my room sat on my bed and turned on my computer. I put her CD into my laptop and the moment I heard her voice my eyes filled with tears and I realized why God had sent me on this journey to a cold North Carolina Mountains.
Her voice is like an angel I thought, and by Friday of the following week she and her husband were both working on the production of the Angel Heaven™ songs.
If you want to feel the same spiritual chills I felt visit AngelHeavenWorld.com and go to the “Music” or “Sing Songs with Purrlee” section. Laura Kaufman and her husband Doug are beautiful people with endless talent… and truly Heaven sent.
GIVING BACK TO GOD… Once the site was up and ready, I realized that it was time to give back to God who had helped with the concept, funding and creation of Angel Heaven™. So I decided that I would offer a fundraising side for churches and charity organizations.
This is how it works. Any church or charity organization that is trying to raise money can sign up for the Angel Heaven™ Fundraising Program and be given a group promotion code.
Anyone in the organization who signs up as a full member at Angel Heaven™World.com and uses their group promotion code will get $4.95 off of the membership price (which equates to $2.50 per month for a one year member or $30 per year), and a total of $3.00 will be given to their organization at the time of purchase.
Your organization will also receive a 10% commission on every purchase made in our online shop when using the group promo code.
I grew up in a family of nine children, so I know the importance stretching a dollar. This is why I chose to price the Angel Heaven™ dolls & Membership so affordable. If you are interested in the fundraising program for your organization contact me by email at: Sharon@angelheavenworld.com or by phone at my St. Louis studio: 314-514-1550
I hope that you and your children will visit us at AngelHeavenWorld.com and have as much fun playing as I have had creating…
God bless you and yours!
